VRHS Adoption Event at Tractor Supply a Huge Success!

This past Saturday, Sept 10, despite the rain, dozens of folks came out to meet, greet and adopt pets at Valley River Humane Society’s adoption event held at the Murphy, NC Tractor Supply.  It was a wonderful event with tons of smiles and hugs for our loving dogs and cats, many of whom were lucky enough to be taken to their forever homes.  A giant thank you goes out to our devoted volunteers who took time out to set up the event, care for our pets and engage with the families who came in search of their new pets.  Thanks also to the staff at Tractor Supply who gave us the room we needed to host our activities within the store’s Garden area.
